The Jailhouse Snitch Joseph Adams
Jim Foley, one of Mr. Tolliver’s Attorneys has discussed the fact that Joe Adams was not truthful when he testified at Trial. This is true especially with regard to any alleged confession by Tolliver or that Mr. Tolliver would have discussed at length details of his life and legal matter to a known Jailhouse Snitch. He testified falsely, was the State of Ohio’s only witness as to Motive, and he was the only person to put the gun in Mr. Tolliver’s hand, and was not being truthful when he testified at Trial, when he claimed that Mr. Tolliver issued statements purportedly against penal interest to the effect that he shot Claire Schneider.
Joseph Adams was due to serve a seventy-nine (79) year State prison sentence for eleven (11) bank robberies and crack possession. Instead he served only eight (8) years after plea bargaining for testifying against Mr. Tolliver. The testimony verbatim echoed the police interrogation of Tolliver. My investigation reveals that on release from prison from the State of Ohio custody in 2010, Joseph Adams immediately robbed four (4) more banks, was re-arrested and is incarcerated in State prison and awaiting further Federal sentencing. We need to find and contact Joseph Adams in the belief -- or at least hope -- that he will now speak candidly about his testimony and recant.
